One cap is used for inflation and deflation. The other cap lets air in but not out, allowing the bed to conform to desirable firmness levels. Important. Both valves need to be closed tightly to prevent air leaking from the two-part valve.
High-grade polyester oxford is laminated with TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) to make an air bed that is PVC and phthalate-free. These superior materials combine to minimize the stretch and ballooning that is typical of a PVC air mattress.
