Miley Ray Cyrus is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and philanthropist. She might be the best known for her role in the Disney Channel television series Hannah Montana (2006-2011), and also for her chart-topping songs, including Party In The U.S.A., We Can’t Stop, and Wrecking Ball. Let’s learn more about her life, career, and earnings.
Ealy Life
On 23rd November 1992, in Franklin, Tennessee, U. S., Leticia Jean Finley and Billy Ray Cyrus welcomed their daughter Destiny Hope Cyrus into this world. Her parents believed that she would accomplish great things, and that is why they named her Destiny Hope. Because of her smiles as an infant, they also gave her a nickname Smiley, which they later shortened to Miley. In 2008, she changed her name to Miley Ray Cyrus. Her godmother is an American famous country singer Dolly Parton. Cyrus has two siblings: a brother Braison, and a sister Noah. She also has three step-siblings: two of her mother’s children from her previous relationship, Brandi and Trace; and her father’s child, Christopher Cody.
Cyrus attended Heritage Elementary School in Williamson Country before she was hired for Hannah Montana. After her family moved to Los Angeles, she attended Options for Youth Charter Schools and studied with a private tutor on set. She was raised a Christian.
Career
Cyrus’ debut acting role was portraying a girl named Kylie in her father’s television series Doc. In 2003, she played Young Ruthie in Tim Burton’s Big Fish. At the age of seven, Cyrus auditioned for the role of Hannah Montana’s best friend, but she was called to audition for the lead role instead. Her singing and acting abilities helped her get the role despite being too young and small for it. The series was very popular and Cyrus was labeled as a teen idol. The Walt Disney Company released the soundtrack for the series, which was a commercial success. This led to Cyrus signed a four-album recording contract with Hollywood Records.
In 2007, the two-disc album Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus was released, where the first disc was the second soundtrack for series, while the second disc was credited as Cyrus’ debut studio album. So far she released seven studio albums, including Beakout (2008), Can’t Be Tamed (2010), Bangerz (2013), Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz (2015), Younger Now (2017), and She Is Miley Cyrus (2020). Cyrus appeared in several movies, including Bolt (2008), Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009), The Last Song (2010), LOL (2012), So Undercover (2012), Miley: The Movement (2013), The Night Before (2015), A Very Murray Christmas (2015), Crisis In Six Scenes (2016), and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017).
Since 2016, she has been signed as a key advisor and coach of the reality singing competition The Voice.

When she was 14 years old, Cyrus came out as pansexual to her mother. The Wrecking Ball singer is open about her recreational use of cannabis.
